3 ruby-throated hummingbirds still hanging around & fattening up. Nectaring at flowers was almost exclusively at black-and-blue salvias. There was more nectaring at feeders today compared to last few days. Fun to watch the hummers follow the sun on the trees as it set where insects remained active. After sunset feeding reverted to the black-and-blue salvias and feeders. Got some bonus viewing minutes this evening as a female rthb extended the evening feeding cutoff by 3 minutes to 7:16 p.m. cdt. That is an infrequent event.
