So wonderful to be enjoying warm weather and hummingbirds this late in September. The warm weather means we still have swarms of tiny flying insects. The hummingbirds have quite the feast between catching the flying insects and nectaring from my flowers and feeder. There is plenty of food right now, but they are still very territorial and chasing each other away. Each spring, I plant a lot of flowers specifically for the hummingbirds and it is so rewarding to see them enjoying them now.
