Last Monarch of the year here?
Had our first frost a day before, and this late migrating monarch found these late blooming lilacs (2nd year in a row this has happened)........
We have an Indian Summer of sorts now, and some northerly winds, so maybe he will someow manage to get out of these northern climes and make his way to Mexico.
Temps in the 60s, north wind, clear blue skies......afternoon sighting.
