The numbers vary at any given time. Anytime I'm outdoors I see at least one adult, up to 3 at a time. Sometimes nectaring, sometimes flying by. This is unusual to see them this late compared to previous years. Temperatures have been warm. Nectar sources are waning in my yard.
We've had an extraordinary amount of Monarchs this year as I stated in a report in September
