A female hatched today in the wild. I didn’t see the chrysalis until I saw her drying her wings then spotted the chrysalis. My milkweed has been cut down close to 2 weeks.so surprised to see her just hatching this late. She looked healthy wings fully formed. Later started flying around the yard.
