Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/12/2025

Number: 11

Party sunny, 86 degrees, 53% humidity, gusty winds SSW 15-20 mph, gusting to 25 mph. 4:45 pm.

Traveled to the Flint Hills yesterday in south-central Kansas and seen hundreds of monarchs migrating south towards Oklahoma.

Today’s visitors were mainly feeding on the Mexican sunflower and butterfly bush, not very interested in the zinnias.

Happy that our plants are still flowering as we approach mid-October.
