Walked for an hour around the arboretum and neighboring gardens starting at 4:15 pm and counted 30 monarchs nectaring, in flight, and a couple roosting already. 80 degrees, sunny, 18 mph sse wind. Zinnias are still popular, most asters are past their prime, the agastache is also popular.
