Spotted a monarch around 4:30 p.m. and thought I saw a second one but was unable to verify that one as it flew away quickly. I also thought I saw a third this morning around 11:30 but was unable to verify for certain. Today was warm and sunny with a temperature around 76 at 4:30. We are in severe drought and flowers are dwindling although I have some Georgia asters and some sunflowers and a few butterfly bush flowers still blooming. A cold front is coming through on Sunday night into Monday.
