The October Wave continues with our sunny dry weather - and with the most Monarchs in one day on our Tithonias! A Tiger swallowtail showed up like a ghost (it's late for them here now) and the Monarchs did NOT want to share the Tithonia blossoms. The Tiger got chased off more than once & I managed to capture one of those times on a 14 ft high blossom. Never seen Monarchs so aggressive. We have rain coming tomorrow and the Monarchs have thinned out this afternoon - I hope they're getting out of town!
