Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/14/2025

Number: 68

We counted 68 beautiful Monarchs heading south at Point Pelee, the day after the last count (which was on Thanksgiving), in a span of 3 hours. Some hovered over the lake and then turned back. These were not counted twice! But most fluttered individually and in pairs around us and then waved goodbye as they disappeared on their journey over the lake towards Mexico! So beautiful! Yesterday they counted 78 Monarchs. But last week it was zero every day. We were so lucky to have such good weather.
