Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/19/2025

Number: 5

Only about 5 Monarchs, down from 20+ in my usual afternoon sunny spot of Cowpen daisies and Gregg's Mist. It is breezy at 15-20 mph SSW wind. Last night was the lowest temp yet, at 40°. Today is low 70's. I expect a few migrants will stay a few more days, until the wind shifts.
Lots of Skippers and Queens and a mix of many other pollinators are on the Cowpens, Blue Salvia, and G's Mist. Sunset is now close to 7 pm.
