I didn't get an accurate count when I was out at noon today, but saw at least 10 nectaring around the arboretum and some on zinnias in the garden, including a couple on Flower of an Hour. When I returned at 6 pm, only 1 remained on agastache and there were none roosting in the hedgerow, so I assume all had continued their southward journey. Perhaps the overnight dip to 41 degrees is hastening the migration. It stayed in the 60s today, though the wind changed from north back to south.
