I previously reported on Oct. 18 that I had observed one monarch that appeared to be resting earlier in the morning.
By one o'clock on Oct. 18th , two more monarchs appeared on the butterfly bushes. The temperature had risen to 79/80 degrees.
All afternoon, the three monarchs moved over the bushes and the wild ageratum. As the sun began to set , they were still in that same space. I am hoping that the trio will decide to roost overnight in the garden.
