sheltered from strong winds close to ground only. Winds WSW to WNW after 15:30 EDT.
Males and females seemingly all diapaused, and in good wing condition and color (except for one individual).
Suspected that they will remain to roost in the silver maples in the fenced in area. In the meantime, this is an excellent location to remain while nectar source Red Clover remains in flower. JN monitor LV contacted by phone to check for overnight roosting tomorrow
