I was very surprised to see a female ruby-throated hummer at my feeder around 5 pm ! I've never seen a hummer so late in our area ! This year the last hummers left September 27th. Usually we have one the first week of October so very thrilled to see one so late !
Weather was sunny and beautiful. 40*/72* with a light breeze.7mph WNW
