Released two adults who I raised from eggs found in the first week of September on milkweed growing in flower beds at Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ. The pair were releaaed at 12:37pm, one male and one female who had eclosed 10/22 & 10/23 respectively. The temperature at time of release was 56 degrees, under partly cloudy skies with 7-8mph winds. They flew off seperately but both headed to the same mature, very tall dense fir tree at the back of my property were they landed on high branches.
