fast walk & count monarchs nectaring, flying and pacing fliers - multiple counts in two directions and choosing best count (flushing by long shadow in low angle sunlight). Storm front and clouds advanced andair temp dropped from ca. 74 F to 64 F in 30 minutes, and several nectaring fliers returned to Scotch pine night roost before 6PM EDT.
