Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/25/2025

Number: 1

On September 23rd this monarch caterpillar formed a J and then created this chrysalis. The weather has been cool and wet during the day, and downright cold at night. We never expected it to eclose. But today October 25th it did and is now pumping up it's wings. It chose a spot that still has some flowers in it so it will be able to feed.
Isn't nature incredible? Will it make it to Mexico? That we will never know.
