It was hard to get an accurate account because they were scattered across the yard on these flowers: Gregg's Mist Flower, Fragrant White Mist Flower, Lantana, Blue Sage, Purple Texas Sage, Hibiscus, Esperanza. I have an abundance of flowers, but the mist flowers are definitely their favorite! I don't think I've seen so many in my yard at one time before. It's been warm (80s) for weeks, but a cold front is coming in this afternoon. Wind will get stronger, coming out of the northwest. Will be in the 40s tonight. I hope these butterflies catch the breeze heading south!
