There were 2 Monarchs throughout the day at any given time (with a peak of 3-5 at one time) between 10am and 6pm. They spent most of the day sipping nectar from an Anacacho Orchid Tree, but they also spent significant time on Penta flowers and occasionally passion vine flower. This area had rain over the weekend after hot, dry months, but fire weather picked up at the end of the day yesterday (before they would be roosting for the night).
