consulted Laura re: Pt.Pelee recent report prior to reporting this 3 Nov sighting where I'd not seen monarchs for several days. Please q.v.

Air temp at ground level in sun 15.5C and in air at 2 m height only 13.5C. This was the leeward side of the dog park enclosure in mid afternoon. Wind gusting to strong out of the southwest and nighttime temps will close in on freezing temp. Understand that the water temp of Lake Erie shore is 13 C at surface as measured 2 Nov. 2025 using calibrated thermometer.Review map.Survivable for adults close to the ground.
