I saw an orange butterfly fly overhead to the North. It is a breezy day so it seems to have been riding the breeze. It turned around and soared back overhead to the South and I was able to get a positive id. It was a Monarch Butterfly. I was unable to tell if it was a male or female. It continued on South. I was unable to get a picture before it soared off beyond the trees.
