This beautiful Broad-billed Hummingbird is still here. It's the only one I have. I have 2 fresh feeders up and watch my feeders so if they happen to freeze I can stay on top of it. I have never had to use my hummingbird feeder warmer but I always have feeders to switch out when it is colder. It does help to keep feeders full of nectar even though I throw out most of it. Over the years I have had a few hummingbirds overwinter at least into December or January... Photo taken by me in Alamogordo, New Mexico in my back yard.
