Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 12/05/2025

Number: 2

There are currently five Monarch caterpillars (and one much smaller Queen caterpillar) active in two groups of Texas Milkweed. Because three were reported earlier this week, I am only reporting the two additional ones that I noticed yesterday. A few are getting quite large and are still actively eating despite some recent low temperatures (yesterday's evening forecast was 41 degrees).
