I planted 15 Red Emperor tulips in my yard on October 13th and I'm using Project Tulip as my 5th grade Science Fair project. I've made a prediction of April 4th for when Spring will arrive in Burke, VA, and I'll keep checking the map to see Spring's progress up the East Coast. I also check the Washington Post science section each month to see what my bulbs look like under the ground.
