What a surprise to see 12 tulip emerging on Monday, Feb.3rd, after the weekend. Our class had predicted emergence for March, so we were indeed off in our prediction. We have had many rain storms during the last few weeks and the tulips were not getting the usual San Diego County sunshine. Our weather has been in the 70's and even hit 80 degrees one day.
