"Mrs. DeFreez's 5th grade classes in Somerville, AL are happy to report that two of our bulbs have emerged. They are about 1cm tall. We are also forcing crocus and hyacinth bulbs in our classroom. The crocus are about 4cm tall and the hyacinth bulbs are only 2cm tall but already opening to show the purple blooms peeking through."
