Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/04/1997

Number: 1

Large flocks of Robins pass through Vero Beach, Florida each year. You may locate Vero Beach on any map of Florida. My home is situated between the Atlantic ocean and the Indian River. This year, 1997, has been an exceptional one for those interested in Robin migration. I began to notice the arrival of the first Robin flocks on November 2nd. I also have a bird bath which was repeatedly filled in order to accommodate their thirst. I also drew additional Robin attention by placing a few large basins of water on the ground. The whole scene was rather chaotic. You may also find it of interest to learn that I also observed thousands of grackles and cedar waxwings traveling along with the Rob
