Greetings from the shore of Lake Superior! We have a robin outside our window today at the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. Although we are having a winter thaw, the snow depth here is at least three feet. We are not sure what our robin will be eating in the next few weeks but we hope that he will make it to open ground. Our Institute is located about 10 blocks from Lake Superior and we are the home of LoonWatch. We are looking forward to your loon observations soon!
