Another second grader in Wellington, Nv., at Smith Valley School has reported two sitings of mosquitoes. They were sited and removed from the environment on Feb, 16, 1997. We believe that this is an extrordinarily early siting of mosquitoes for this area. Our daily average temperatures must be just right. Does anyone know the daily average temperature for mosquitoes to fly and bite? We would love to know. This siting was done by Savannah. Please send any information regarding mosquitoes and spring to our email address. thanks.
