At last! I heard and then saw my first robin of the season this morning. A warm front arrived yesterday, and strong winds blew from the south all day. I saw the robin at 6:30 this morning, 3/17/97. A blizzard & very cold temperatures during the past week seem to have kept the robins from moving in, after a wave of first sightings were reported in Minnesota a week ago. In previous years, I spotted my FIRST robin on: 3/16/88, 3/12/94, 3/11/95, 3/12/96, 3/17/97
