50,000 to 65,000 snow geese settled on sod farm between rt 4 & the Hudson at around 2 PM. Farm north of Stillwater. Both color varieties. Estimate based on counting # in a section & trying to estimate # of sections visible. Retired engineer has studied (& hunted) local wildlife all his life & has Never seen such a massing.
