I saw my first Monarchs on Saturday, March 30 in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. One on the Greenbrier Road and another near the village of Cosby, TN. There were also lots of West Virginia Whites, Tiger Swallowtails, etc. I guess it won't be TOO long beore the first ones show up in Ontario.
Cheers,
Paul Pratt
This note was sent to me by Paul Pratt of Windsor, Ontario regarding his monarch observations in Tennessee. If you took a look at the most recent issue of Life Magazine and the article concerning Point Pelee's championship birdwatching team, you saw a picture of Paul - hands cupping his ears to hear bird songs!
