We have just begun to see Monarchs here in Texarkana, Arkansas (southwest corner of the state) this week. The first monarch we saw was last Tuesday, March 25. There seem to be many more than we have noticed in past springs. Some are quite large and all seem very hungry. The ones we have seen all seem to still be on a northward track. We have seen many more every day since then. They are really amazing creatures.
