Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 04/07/1997

Number: 1

Our PE instructor, Christie Roberts, conducted classes outside all day on Monday. It was a beautiful, warm spring day. Her students observed several small groups of Monarchs flying around the edges of the wooded areas that border our campus. The Currituck Sound is less than a half mile away. The nearby wetlands and wooded areas support the milkweed plant.
