Today is Sunday, April 6, 1997. Approximately 7-14 days ago, my daughter sighted a female monarch laying eggs on a milkweed plant in my backyard. Upon examining the plant, I found numerous caterpillars and some new eggs. We have about 20 caterpillars on our plant at this time. This sighting was in Spring, Texas.
