I saw one, perhaps a second, faded monarch _Danaus plexippus_ female(s) in Louisville, KY yesterday, Sun. Apr. 6. Two other people told me they saw a monarch the same day in other parts of the city. Brainard Palmer-Ball reported at least 2 in Warren Co., KY (south-central KY) on 5 April. April 3 is the earliest KY record we have over many years, and that record quite some years ago.
