Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 04/02/1997

Number: 1

We were on a field trip at a wildlife center approximately 20 miles from our school. There were 38 4th graders. We had gone to identify trees by their leaves. It was sunny and mild day. We were eating lunch and suddenly we saw a monarch flying around. Philip tried to catch it - but he couldn't - way to go butterfly!
