Dear Monarch Watchers,
We here in Big Bend National Park, Texas, have been seeing a lot of monarchs lately! We live right on the Mexican border, so of course the monarchs have been migrating right through our area. We saw the first monarchs of the year on March 18. There were two or three fluttering around our school grounds at about 12:30 in the afternoon. Since then, students and teachers alike have been seeing monarchs all over Big Bend! So far we have seen thirty-seven. We hope to see more!
Sincerely,
Ananda Morlock
