Ice-Out

Date: 04/15/1997

Number: 1

The ice is finally going away In the middle of March, the fish huts were removed from the ice. This usually means that Spring can not be far behind. The used Christmas trees that mark the path out to where the fish huts were have fallen through the ice. The warmer temperatures, snow runoff and Spring rains have melted away the ice for another year.
