Hi, Journey North,
The tulips in Marquette, Michigan are beginning to emerge. They first made their appearance on Friday, April 11. Some of the garden is still buried in snow (the portion closest to the sidewalk which was shoveled onto the garden). I just covered the tulips up again because it's really cold today, although this weather is supposed to move through the area quickly. We had another record winter for snow--over 260 inches, most of which is gone in town except for the piles. Happy spring to you.
