Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/14/1997

Number: 1

Sorry it took so long to send this in but we've been very busy. Our robins first appeared in York about March 14th. We usually get very strong south winds in the early spring, (sometimes followed by very strong north winds bringing snow!) which helps the robins on their way north. Our robins arrive very plump and wait patiently for the first spring rains to bring up the worms. They received much needed rain just this last week when we received 10 inches of snow which melted in two days.
