The fourth graders at Sacred Heart of Mary in Weirton, WV spotted 17 very fat robins March 18. We lost sight of them for a very long time. Then on April 1o when we were outside checking our bird feeders, we knew why. We saw a very large hawk. We viewed a fight between this hawk and a robin, after 5 minutes the hawk flew away. It was very interesting and exciting to watch the robin defend its nest.
