Yesterday after school, Our custodian, Nancy, came to tell me that she had just spotted a Monarch flying around behind our school feeding on dandelions. So I excitedly went with her and was able to see the MOnarch too. It was a huge Monarch and very bright orange. It was feeding on another dandelion. I tried to creep up on it slowly hoping to catch it but I failed.. I could not see if it was a male or female. It was around 3:30 and it was about 73 degrees outside. What a wonderful way to end a schoolday!
