Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 05/04/1997

Number: 1

Austin Reisner a second grade student in my class saw 16 Monarchs in his woods Sunday afternoon about 1:50P.M. He was with his brother and Grandpa. The Monarchs were flying around and some were sucking nectar from yellow flowers. He did not know the name of the flowers. He tried to catch one but they were too fast. He did not see 16 all at the same time but a total of 16 while they were walking to the woods to go arrowhead hunting.
