Natasha saw a monarch at 3:40 P.M. on April 7 at Mr. Vernon, the former home of George Washington, located in Mt. Vernon, Va. just outside of Washington, D.C. The temperature was around 70 degrees. The butterfly was sitting on some pebbles, and its wings were in good condition.
