Jamie Marquardt from our grade 5-6 class reports seeing a ruby-throated hummingbird at his grandmother's house in Brighton this afternoon. The hummer was hovering in the garden area near the window. This sighting was confirmed by one of the local birders as well! We are on the look-out for monarchs as well, but so far, we have not found any! Happy spring! Sam and her amazing class.
