Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 05/18/1997

Number: 1

First a single male showed up, then a second male followed by a single female. They began trying to feed from the hummer feeders and I immediately plced halved oranges in the trees and they fed from those and the hummer feeders. They were also sipping from crab apple blossoms. We now have too many to acurately count!! No nests are currently being built and this is the first time in 20 years at this address that we have had this species!!
