Just a note to say we were in Myrtle Beach for four days (13-17 April) and I saw dozens of Monarchs feeding on flowers and mating. This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach and it was encouraging to see the activity of the Monarchs. I saw no milkweed. Does this mean that they do not reproduce for a while yet, or is there milkweed around there which I did not see?
