We took a short hike in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Nordic Hiking trail today, June 4. It's located in South central Wisconsin, just south of Palmyra. We saw one Monarch floating 3 ft. above a meadow moving lazily to the West. Another up near the wood edge nectaring on Honeysuckle. Sunny weather finally, 80F with light winds.
